Karamū has supported housing for 84 households—approximately 227 people—offering stability, security, and a strong foundation for whānau.
Owner-Occupier Focus
Priority was given to owner-occupiers over investors to ensure homes were lived in by those contributing to the neighbourhood—fostering connection and long-term wellbeing.
Below-Market First Homes
A number of first-home buyers were able to purchase homes at 30% below market price and have since realised capital gains, helping build intergenerational wealth and security.
Local Jobs & Economy
Across all sites, Karamū supported around 475 workers—including 137 build partners, 48 subcontractors, and 31 apprentices—helping grow capability, strengthen the construction sector, and keep investment within the community.
